Deciding which photo should go front and center on your Bumble profile can be as tricky as deciding which TV show to binge. You may think that the poised selfie in the good lighting is the best photo—but what if it’s the one of you on that hike with a great view in the background? Or the candid photo that your friend took of you laughing at their joke? This is why Bumble has introduced a new Best Photo feature to help make the decision for you.
The Best Photo feature uses technology to ascertain which of your first three Bumble profile photos gets the most right swipes—or likes—and then puts that pic at the top of your profile. This, along with completing your profile, can improve your chances of making matches and finding your next connection.
To enable the Best Photo feature on your profile, head into “Complete my profile” or “Edit profile” and underneath your photo selection will be the Best Photo button. Simply toggle it on! And if you ever decide that you no longer want to use the Best Photo feature, you can alway turn it off.
If you’re stuck choosing which photos to include in your six slots, check out our post on how to take the best Bumble profile pics here. The key points to remember are to show off your smile; make sure the photos are mostly just shots of you; and to keep the photos as recent as possible. Make sure to follow Bumble’s photo rules so that we can all continue to keep Bumble a safe and positive space!
